bade miyan chote miyan

After two years of the announcement, Bade minyan chote miyan has finally hit the theatres today on auspicious occasion of EID today(April 11).

The main cause of happiness is that it’s a remake or part of the cult classic comedy ‘Bade miyan chote miyan’ of  Amitabh bachan and Govinda. Apart from me, I think many of you agree on some films and songs shouldn’t be remade one of these is Amit Ji & Govinda starrer ‘bade miah chote miah’ which is still one of the favourite comedies of many, and was worried after the announcement that Akshay & tiger are doin ‘BDCM’ though pair is killin’ though I terms of action.

Well, it’s something like missing if are you’re Bhaijan fan as for few years eid is reserved for Salman khan though first it was SRK who took EID release date from Salman & gave the blockbuster “pathan” 2022.

Now It’s Khiladi Kumar who went for Eid release. let’s see if He’ll get the same success as King khan.  Though the three superstars are different the common thing between their Eid releases is the Action. Salman doing action packed blockbusters for years now & Sharukh did it a lot in Pathan too.

Akshay is known as Khiladi so he didn’t disappoint us all & get an action-packed movie ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’.

The film has created all the right buzz and given the figures of advance bookings, it seems to have a promising start at the box office on day  Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

In the action drama, we got to see the pair 90’s Actioner Akshay Kumar with new gen. Actioner Tiger Shroff personally I was excited for.

The cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and Sonakshi Sinha among others.

Bade miyan Chote miah review

For all the Akshay and Tiger’s fans, it’s a great treat for them as they get to see Bollywood’s two action heroes sharing the same screen space in the adrenaline-pumping film.

The plot is predictable but it’s more about the actions. From the trailer, I were pretty sure that ‘ Bade miyan Chote miyan’ would be high on death-defying stunts and it has aced it in this department.

The action comedy has intricately choreographed action sequences by Hollywood action director, Craig Macrae.

Rocky and Firoz are seen punching the baddies, jumping over cars and landing smoothly on their feet. Full marks to Akshay and Tiger for their dedication and hard work in performing and pulling off such high-octane action scenes and combats.

Prithviraj as an antagonist tried to do full justice to his role but failed to do so. I was expecting more of him  as he is a brilliant actor & not to mention, He star of Malayalam cinema but was let down.

If talk about female characters it is disappointing as In Ali’s past films, we have seen women characters getting importance and having good screen time which has an ‘a value added’ factor to the storyline, like Zoya character in Ek tha Tiger.

Here female characters don’t contribute much to the narrative. but they definitely add the glamour & personally, Alya F just mesmerised me.

This tried and tested template of hero/heroes on a mission to take down a villain is nothing new. It is like old wine in a new bottle. Except for Akshay and Tiger’s camaraderie, there isn’t anything new to offer. If you are a fan of Akshay and Tiger, give it a try or else you have another option to watch in theatres which won’t disappoint you.
