PM Modi in Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to West Bengal. On the first day he addressed a public meeting in Arambagh, Hooghly. After this he met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata. On the second day, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 15,000 crore related to rail, power and road sectors from Krishnanagar in Nadia district.

Addressing the public meeting in Krishnanagar, he said – Friends, my salutations to all you God-like people and also to the mothers, sisters and daughters. Your coming in such large numbers is giving a clear message that this time – NDA government has crossed 400.

state government is running here has disappointed you- PM

This land is the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the supreme preacher of Lord Krishna. I bow at the feet of Mahaprabhu. I am fortunate that the city of Dwarka, which was established by Lord Shri Krishna, was drowned in the sea. A few days ago, I had the privilege of going into the depths of the sea and paying obeisance to that ancient land of Shri Krishna.

The way the TMC state government is running here has disappointed you. The people of Bengal have repeatedly given a huge mandate to TMC with great expectations, but TMC has become another name for tyranny and betrayal. For TMC, the priority is not the development of Bengal, but corruption and nepotism.

In Hooghly’s Arambag, Modi said on Friday, ‘Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee considers me enemy number-1. Today the people of Bengal are asking Chief Minister Didi – The votes of some people for you are more than that of the victimized women of Sandeshkhali. You should be ashamed.’

PM said- Someone hid the accused of Sandeshkhali

In Hooghly’s Arambag, Modi said on Friday, ‘Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee considers me enemy number-1. Today the people of Bengal are asking Chief Minister Didi – The votes of some people for you are more than that of the victimized women of Sandeshkhali. You should be ashamed.’

He said, ‘Our leaders faced lathicharge and hardships. Then somewhere the Bengal Police had to bow before your power and arrest that accused (Sheikh Shahjahan). He remained absconding for about two months. There must be someone who is saving him. Will you forgive such TMC? We will take revenge for whatever happened to the mothers and sisters here. Every injury has to be answered by voting.

In fact, in Sandeshkhali of North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, women have accused TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan and his associates of sexual harassment. People claim that Shahjahan has forcibly taken over people’s land. Due to this, protests are taking place there. On February 29, on the rebuke of the High Court, the police arrested the main accused Sheikh Shahjahan after 55 days.
